Sorry to hear about your M8 glitch.  My wife's digital cameras are always 
doing strange intermittent things ...and it drives her nuts, and 
subsequently me as well.  My MP needed repair after about 6 months, 
something in the speed dial broke.  I only changed it from 125 to 250 every 
once in a while.
