Well, Stirling Moss said that the Corvair WAS safe at any speed. At  
the time I raced a Porsche 356 in SCCA races in Michigan and I felt  
unsafe at any speed. Now I drive sedately in my turbocharged Saabaru  
and reminisce about the bad old unsafe days. Second childhoods are  
wonderful.
