Yes, Philip, that will happen. Microsoft have hardly any market share ;-)
Unix boasting of their chastity!
On the picture format front, this is likely to be a mis-step by Mr Ballmer 
et al as everyone ignores it. However, its not likely to
dent their bottom line giving it a try. I was surprised to read Brian's 
comments re DivX, though. I never heard about outrage or a
slow and painful death of the format. Brian, did you mean in commercial 
players? I would be greatly inconvenienced without that
codec.

I've had two friends who have had to do near complete rebuilds due to Vista.
Perhaps Vista will be the long awaited death knell of Windows and Unix based 
systems will finally take over the world.
