Several PLUGers are going to convene at the Reading Museum arboretum and
museum for their Easter events. No admission price for museum or grounds.
If anyone else would like to join us, here's the details.

Easter at the Museum!

Come celebrate Easter at the Museum! The Reading Public Museum and 107.5
Frank FM are reviving a beloved Reading and Berks County tradition, hosting
Easter at the Museum on Sunday, April 8, from noon until 4 p.m. Dress up the
family and join the classic "Easter Parade."

Exciting activities for children and adults will be held in front of the
Museum and throughout the Arboretum. Participate in an Easter egg hunt and
win candy prizes, a bike or maybe even a brand new Nintendo Wii! Capture
pictures of, and visit with, the Easter Bunny. Take a carriage ride around
the 25-acre Arboretum or simply stroll the grounds. Listen to the music of
107.5 Frank FM broadcasting live from noon until 2 p.m. Enjoy refreshments
and the atmosphere of the Reading Public Museum on Easter.

A professional photographer will be there to take pictures, helping to
create new memories. Conjure up old memories with a picture of yourself
enjoying Easter at the Museum in the past. Bring the photo to The Museum
Shop during this event and be eligible for a special prize, and a chance to
be included in an upcoming publication and/or exhibition.

Admission to the Museum is FREE and a special Easter gallery presentation
will be held at 3 p.m. discussing the painting "The Raising of Lazurus" by
Tinteretto. All current art and science exhibits will be open and The
Planetarium will be running Star Shows at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. for the regular
admission fee.
