Subject: [Leica] 21 % 24 Lenses

Hi Luis,
I have the 21 Elmarit pre Asph (purchased used from Bryan Caldwell
several years ago - thank you again Bryan) and the 24 Elmarit Asph
purchased new from the redoubtable Dr. Yao (thank you Joseph). In use
with the M8, in the field, I don't see much difference in their image
cutting abilities at middle apertures. I know that may be heresy but
that's what I see. With the M8 I lean to using the 24 more than the
21 because with the 24 I don't need a separate view finder. Both
lenses at the moment are visiting Solms to be coded.
Cheers
Howard (still in Tokyo)
