[Leica] M8 repair

I tried email yesterday and got one hit. So I'm one for four on emails re:
responses. I also got the phone number of someone who can help me. Haven't
been able to reach him by phone yet, but left a message. I'm trying no to
get jaded on this particular issue. But my luck lately hasn't been good. It
took 4 months and 4 hours of sitting in a waiting room to get our local
electric company to send us a bill. For months, they refused to send us a
bill and then hit us with exorbitant late fees. It wasn't until I got
downright hostile that they agreed to starting mailing our bills again. But
their position was much flimsier...they claimed that the address (where they
were delivering $1,100 worth of electricity each month) didn't exist.

Did you call them or just send an email? I know it's very old fashioned but
speaking to someone is often more productive - and not just with Leica.

When I wanted to know how long it would take to have my lenses coded I
telephoned Leica UK and they put me through to the appropriate person.
