Nice picture - the colours work well.

That lens (Tamron) was about the first to be affordable and go up to 
300 with decent quality; it also has a good and really useful macro 
range going to 1:1.6. It was my main travel long zoom for many years. 
I still don't know of a zoom that goes to or past 300 that is better, 
including all current Nikon and Canon offerings.

I haven't used the Novoflex incarnation, but the Tamron is very well 
made (except for the Adaptall mount) and is quite handy. The Novoflex 
version has a lot of bulk added, as far as I can tell.
