Philippe, I especially like the muted colour in the first. You have achieved 
an almost watercolour effect. Might be an interesting
exercise printing it on a textured paper. May I suggest that you try a 
version with that upright pipe removed from the foreground?
I think that the BW version might benefit from some white canvas within the 
black border. The broad black on its own has the effect
of making the image more sombre to me, but the lighting on your subjects is 
not sombre at all.
