I have to say all the chatter about DVD/CD failure is of some concern,
not that I have any direct experience of CD/DVD failure. Lots of
expereince of hard drive failure (both internal and external). At the
same time, I have some 30yo slides that scanned and printed nicely! I
still use lots of film but the physical storage is not trivial! A
mixed model is best for me - some of this (film) and some of that
(digital) is my approach.
