Jeff, your message title says it perfectly.
I'd add eye-catching colour to the nice light bit and fun, cool to the cute 
gal part.
I enjoyed these two, especially the first. Some of the slightly quirky 
detail really engaged my attention.

Nate and Amy stopped by Scenic, Historic and Reliably Corrupt Jersey
City for a visit.  We all spent some time on the roof, there was some
nice light, and Amy has a great smile.

M8, probably with that newish little Zeiss 35/2.0 M-mount.

Check out how the hair matches that little Eileen Fisher wrap against
the chill.  Which was *borrowed* that evening.  Don't tell me there's no
