 From this week in 1982:

Reggie Fountain has a pretty good case of short-man-disease. A speed boat
champion at an early age, million-dollar insurance salesman when a million
was real money...

Then came the Fountain Powerboat. Here's Reggie chugging up the Pamlico
River near Washington, NC pushed by the twin big-block Chevys. It was a
couple of years before he built the triple-engine versions. We're at 70+ mph
here. The boats are still manufactured in Chocowinity.
