Depends on whether you're more interested:
        in low noise than size
        or
        in size than low noise

The holy grail of low noise at high ISO, tiny size, fast lens, 15mm  
to 400mm, superb fine detail, capable of capturing 12 stops of light  
- well it'll be a few years coming. ;~)

Pick your current compromise and work it.
