Interesting portrait, too, due to the similar direction they look to. I think you could get it a bit further. First thing that I would try if I had a go at it, would be: I'd crop off a bit of the right, desaturate slightly, make the background just a bit lighter, use smart sharpen (at 50/2) and burn the shadow parts on their skin a bit. Just to emphasize the powerful (a bit stoical expression) of their faces.
