The Lux ASPH is mercilessly sharp and contrasty. In its day the Canon f1.8 was regarded as a very fine lens. I, too, like its imaging quality. If your model has the same attitude toward pictures of herself as my wife, she would insist that you trash the Lux, or at least never use it within 50 years of her. Larry Z
