[Leica] Leica 111c repair question

Folks I have a lovely little 111c which I adopted rather than see it 
unappreciated in a camera store window. It has pinhole leaks in
the shutter blinds. While I am considering replacements, of course that is a 
more expensive option (and that repair guy is three
years behind here). The money might be better invested towards another LTM 
choice.

Does anyone know of a source for a suitable coating that might be attempted 
for the existing blinds prior to giving up on them? The
rest of the camera works very well and certainly warrants a CLA, to preserve 
it. This is a camera just to use for the pleasure of
its elegant design.
