Read the fine print at the bottom of the certificates. I sent in two lenses in June. They were received by Leica, NJ on June 28th and I received the two confirming letters shortly thereafter. It is now around ten weeks later and they still have my lenses. One was an original Tri-Elmar and the other a current, nearly new 50mm Summilux Asph. I just inquired about my lenses and was told the 50mm had to go to a machine shop and they don't know about the TE. Lovely service.
