Subject: [Leica] R lens comparison

I had an older 28 R which had distinctly different coatings than the much 
better lens I now have. They are both of the "removable hood" type, not the 
current one with built in hood.
I'm guessing that at some point Leica updated the coatings and I got lucky 
the 2nd time around.
