Hi Alastair,

I've missed your first announcement of these wonderful images, you have
showed one of the best collection of the Artic I never see,

Dick,
thank you for the kind words. We loved the colour images, but I find the b/w
stronger on some of the graphic type images. Glad you enjoyed our look at 80
degrees north ;-)

How happy I am to have finally caught up with these.  You have some amazing
shots here, Alastair, with more than a few eliciting a small gasp of
pleasure.  With Philippe, I particularly liked the polar bear shots
contrasting the blue/green water, blue/white ice and ivory bears.  The one
if the mother holding her cub on that small berg is absolutely wonderful, as
are more than a few others of bergs, mountains and the light.  For me the
color shots worked better than the B&W, but many of those were fine, too.
