[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Today, i went to venice beach ca, with the m8 and g9. i wanted to see how the new lenses fair out and also shooting raw with the g9. overall i am very pleased with the new leica lenses. lightweight, compact, build quality same as any other current leica lens. both of the lenses seemed very easy to work with. image quality probably as good as their other counter part in the leica stable. these lenses ship with a cloth pouch and no hood (extra cost for hood), the canon g9 was fairly fast shooting raw, i was a bit surprised, it looks like shooting raw is always (raw+jpeg) and the jpeg is used for camera viewing. some samples http://www.kiakki.net/venice-07/index.html -- ------------------------------------- regards, mehrdad
