When I see some of Kyle's more "surprising" work - I often think of:

which I consider "illustrative;" yet it certainly had to appear very
fresh at the time.
Moreover, in the strictest sense, makes Kyle's floaters a bit
derivative.
I realize I'm being harsh here. Kyle knows that I have the utmost
respect for him and his work.
