I like the quality and prices of the Zeiss ZM lenses but I agree with Don.
 
If you already have the Leica Summicrom or Asph Summilux I would not buy the 
Zeiss lens. Especially so if you plan to use the 50 ZM lens on an M8.
 
I do highly recommend the Zeiss ZM 25/2.8. Well worth considering if you 
have some cash burning a hole in your pocket.
