Subject: [Leica] Ok - How do I fake Northern light window box?

quite difficult to 'fake' real, available light situations; most  
especially window light coming off of snow.

Softbox will provide the closest, easy to set up facsimile. Remember  
that to fake window light from a soft box. The softbox will need to  
be as large as the window that you're trying to fake. Also, the  
quality of the source within the box will affect the result. The idea  
is to flood the softbox with 'even' light. In the case of a quantum  
head you may achieve the closest to window with the bare tube within  
the softbox. You'll lose a lot of light - but perhaps get better  
coverage on a large box. The chimera boxes with silver linings and  
bare tubes do very well.

Yet, a window is a window. ;~)
