Subject: [Leica] printer help

LUGers, I need some help with buying a printer. My old Epson C86 is
apparently clogged so badly that no amount of cleaning will make it work
(due to some months of non-use and a dry climate). Unless I can kick some
life into it I'll be looking for a new one soon. I only need a letter-size
printer but would like to have the best possible photo output, and also good
text capacity. Hoping to stick with Epson, my options seem to be the R280
(in the US) and the C88. Anyone had any experience with either? I've read
a lot of reviews but none lend confidence. Also, I mainly print on matte
paper but would like to have glossy as a choice too.

TIA for any help.
