May I agree with you all?

Indeed, your points of view can be reconciled in a way, after all.

For me
http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0712/McfR-1_5.jpg.html
has a Diane Arbus tinge to it that made me like it at once, together with
http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0712/caregiver.jpg.html
I rate them both as wonderful documentary photographs IMHO.

I also liked
http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0712/91038-04A.jpg.html
for its atmosphere (good old times wrote Luis, rightly so)

and
http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0712/L1000362.jpg.html
for the intensity conveyed by these wonderful hands and the tweed cap

Just my pinch of salt.

thanks Steve for bringing out the comments issue on this so interesting
series.
and to you Brian for picking it up.
