Let's hope this one is true......it is good for the user base.
Oh boy, vindication! Put the IR filter on the sensor protecting glass,
where it belongs.... cut the BS.
For you IR fans, go back to film, buy an M8 ( used because they will be a
bargain if this rumor comes true), or use something other than Leica for
(digital) IR.

i was told by the ziess rep (whoe he know, i don't know), that leica
is testing a new camera that does not NEED the IR filters!!
