I couldn't be happy without a darkroom.  I haven't had time to make prints
lately, but I have been developing my film, and scanning some negs for the
gallery.  B&W is the essence of photography for me, with a physical image 
that
I can see without a computer.  I shoot digital to make a living, but use film
to give me fulfillment.  Plus, I like my film cameras so much more than any 
of
the digital gear I've used, that it makes no sense to invest in something I
don't need.
Also, instant results aren't neccessary for my enjoyment.  I'm just now 
getting
ready to send in all the Kodachrome I've shot in the past year.  I'll be fun 
to
see what I photographed in color.
