What if it was true?
What if shooting digital was truly a basic esthetic compromise?
And a compromise to ones body of work which is now up for grabs as next
years floppy drive won't work with this years?

What does that say about the people doing this work?
Top pros doing the bulk of professional photography
Who, 99.9% of them are shooting digital.
What a scandal of huge proportions!!

Must be something in the nature of photography itself which makes all its
top practitioners desert it like a sinking ship for something easier and
more convenient despite dire consequences.

The top work and the people doing it today is not of course a big sell out.
These people of course have integrity.

For us to sit around declaring digital vs. silver based photography to be
some kind of esthetic controversy does nothing but make us look bad.
And points to a weird kind of insular arrogance.
