There is a rising standard for DX broadcast (DRM), which delivers near  
FM quality in the first hops, then it degrades to something similar to  
regular AM, much better in any case than the usual SW reception, wich  
I always loved.

At least in this side of the pond there are quite a few stations  
broadcasting DRM for the world, but receivers on the market are -right  
now- very few, I hope that during this year, or maybe next, someone  
will deliver a decent table top radio with AM/FM/DAB/DRM.





Any day above ground is a good one.
