While on vacation in southern California, I visited the Palm Springs Air

museum. They had a still-flyable B-17 on exhibit, and I took a tour of
it.<<<

Hi Peter,

Having seen the Hollywood movie "Memphis Belle" umpteen dozen times

And a DVD of the for real plane and crew I thoroughly enjoyed your series,
well done !

As others have said, it's truly amazing what the air crews flyingB-17's or
many other bomber type aircraft went through doing their tour of duty.

Your stills add a significant amount of detail allowing one to appreciate
the lack of "protection" the crews had, both in survival for breathing and
from shrapnel.

Thank you and no necessity about apologizing it isn't art, actually it's
fine here it is in your face story telling photography!! Quite frankly
that's far more important to any artsy fartsy art! :-)
