Hi Steve,

I checked clearances early on, and the only lens I have that I 
wouldn't put on the M8 is my Hologon. Even the old collapsible Nickel 
Elmar I tried recently can be collapsed and still have about 4mm 
clearance. The 2.8 Elmars and f/2 lenses don't collapse as much, so 
there is even more clearance from the shutter.
