Luggers from the San Francisco area had a gathering in Carmel in 2000.
Had a beautiful afternoon at the Point Lobos State Reserve.
Has it been 8 years since then? I guess so. I think Sara was just a baby.
Of course, we could also do a convention in Palo Alto, the birthplace
of LUG and home of Brian. Many hotels are available for between
$100-150 / night, and of course, go WAY UP from there.
Perhaps for members from Asia, San Francisco would be convenient.
Ok, here's one vote for Palo Alto/San Francisco, with a trip to Yosemite.
(I live an hour from Palo Alo, 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco,
and an hour from the wine country...)
