One of the things you NEVER do is to announce a new, upgraded product when
you have inventories of the older product. It only cannibalizes the old
product and forestalls the purchase of the older model, as buyers wait for
the new one to become available. Worse yet, if there is no price hike in
the newer model..... it is suicide to do otherwise.

There will be, or rather, should not be, no new camera until the inventories
of the M8 go to approximately zero.
