Ira,

The first of the Dodge/Plymouth tail fins started with the 1956 models.  My 
red and white 1956 Plymouth had a mild set of fins, along with another mod 
that didn't last long, a transmission controlled by push-buttons in the left 
end of the dash.  By the time I bought a 65 Dodge Coronet, the fins were 
gone.
