Gene,
If you don't own a wider lens then pick up at least the 15mm Heliar.  You
will need a wide lens for European cities and the 15 makes a 21 on an M8.
If you have a little more $ then the 18mm Zeiss is a very fine lens indeed
and comes close to a 24.  You know your itinerary so the need for a long
lens is in that document.  I would say that the DSLR and the 60 would be all
you need if you think you will have time for close up and selective
extraction photo's.
