I've been covering the dance department since 1967, but I feel it's been 
harder
to catch peak action since we went to DSLR's, as compared to when I could use
my M's.  My favorite combo was an M4-2 and winder (even used that for
basketball).  I just can't get used to the different shutter delay on the 1D,
and the AF never seems to be as accurate as the RF.  I'm guessing an M8 would
be great for this.
