Helen has been feeling a little ignored in the last couple of years: Her 
birthday has just not corresponded with any good "break". You may remember, 
that it was Helen who surprised me with a Ti M6 and 35 asph all those years 
ago and got me into Leica in a big way, so it would be silly to upset her: 
RIGHT? So something needed to be done. We could not get appropriate flights 
to Japan or HK where I was hoping to hook up with HK luggers, but Howard's 
last post was an inspiration: we are off to Bali on Saturday for a week. I 
have not had the chance to review HOward's images yet: I forwarded the mail 
to home. I think I will take my own advise and carry the M8 with an M6 for 
back up (the M6 came from Howard as well ;-) ) 

Helen was delighted with this plan: esp since the hotel's look "appropriate" 
with cooking classes etc. So a big thanks to Howard for coming home from 
Bali in time to suggest this life saving plan ;-)
