Norton totally screwed up everything on both of my computers. All
programs were slow as molasses with freezes and crashes all the
time. I removed all Norton and installed
BitDefender http://www.bitdefender.com/ - recommended by most of
the review sites and much cheaper than Norton. It works great,
totally in the background, and I've had zero problems so far.
