While this 13 oz rule seems ridiculous. I agree with Gene. In most  
other regards the Post Office seems a great value to me. DHL has  
proved to be a nightmare each of the few times they've been involved  
in my shipping or receiving. UPS seems to have their act together;  
yet always end up significantly more expensive. FedEx has proved  
useful; yet very pricey compared to the PO. When serious tracking is  
required I use UPS and FedEx (although PO's certified mail has been  
flawless). It's nice to have options. I'll continue to choose the PO  
for most of my shipping.
