The proper term is "Non-Leitz Leica Thread-Mount 
Lenses".  Trust me, I wrote the book and it has 
been known <ah-HEM> to be offered for sale on this List.

This is a wild topic, and I have far too many 
suggestions to suit a single e-Mail.  My all-time 
favorite?  probably the 4/300 Kilfitt 
Pan-Tele-Kilar.  Others worthy of mention include 
the 2/8.5cm CZJ Sonnar T, the 1.5/7.5cm CZJ 
Biotar T, and, as noted, the 1.5/50 Jupiter-3.  I 
have owned dozens and hundreds of these lenses 
over the years, and have shot with almost all of them.

But the ones I finally kept are the ones which 
count.  And that Pan-Tele-Kilar is a keeper.
