George -

I hope you and your family are ok. You are getting too much rain and
we are getting too little. I returned from NYC to find that it had
not rained a drop while I was gone. All of my plants in containers
are dead. The garden is surviving only because we mulched
heavily. Last night there were severe thunderstorms warnings in our
area. We sat on the porch at the farm and watched the dark clouds
split and go right around us. We did get high winds that blew over
our peach tree. It had hundreds of peaches that would have been ripe
in another two weeks. Still no significant rain and the main water
line in Rock Hill broke. We are on severe water restrictions. I
certainly believe whoever it was who said that all future wars will
be fought over water, not oil.

Hope your weather improves!!
