Mark,

I really don't think about it anymore. Yes I have a few AF lenses but  
mostly I shoot manual focus with my Leica M's and LTM's, 560mm Telyt  
on the Canon 20D and close up flowers with my Nikon D300. As a pocket  
camera I also use the 45mm pancake on the D60 (that's your fault), a  
great combo.
