I agree Alastair, this one is not probably the best example to show the
performance of the Cooke, even so, it performs different of the Leica lenses

I find the last image a bit detached, the first two are very graphic and
beautiful b/w images. Not sure I can tell the lens signature on the "screen"
of my laptop
