Subject: [Leica] Computer Help Needed: Deleted Files

Anyone ever accidentally erased 8GB of unbacked-up RAW (dng) files
from a Windows directory?  The idiot-light should have gone on when
the computer said: "item is too large to be sent to wastebasket -
delete anyway?"  There goes the July 8 garden party  . . .who knew the
human head contained that many sweat glands?

Windows XP machine (has not been turned off since the idiot-incident)

Suggestions, commiseration welcome, off-line if necessary.
