I quite agree.
Moreover, I have no idea whether the ccd itself, or the ccd data, or  
the processing of that data accounts for the qualities I see. Most  
likely a combination of all. As a user (not a system developer) I can  
only evaluate the end result produced by the system. I have no doubt  
that some user's actually prefer the Canon "look" or the Nikon "look"  
or the Olympus "look" or?
