Jim, I don't have Elements but you definitely should find that the changes
are reversible. That is the nature of Raw files. In ACR there is a function
to reset all changes. Always the underlying information is there anyway. All
edits are saved as additional information with the original file.

Geoff,

I use the converter that is a part of Elements 6.0.  Early on, I cropped a 
RAW image prior to finalizing the conversion, and, when I decided I needed a

little more of the image, I opened the RAW image and found it saved in the 
cropped form.  I admit I did not search for a way to go back to the original

RAW file.  However, since that time, I have been careful to delay cropping 
until I started working with a .tif or .jpg file.
