I find using a "split" keyboard and a Logitech Trackman to be helpful.
 My right wrist hurts if I have to use a regular mouse for any length
of time.

I keep thinking I'll get a new TrackMan someday, but my old one
refuses to die.  It's about 10 years old.  :)  The new ones are better
designed in that they don't collect lint like the old ones do.
