why or who would "need" faster lenses at any focal length?
I love my 35, 50 and 75 1.4 luxes
why would I not love 21 and 24 lux (besides the unafordable price)?
I fully appreciate the 28 cron for it's one stop faster than 2.8.
I'd certainly appreciate a 2 stop increase in usability.

'need' isn't the the issue.
appreciation and usability seem obvious.
