It is called bankruptcy.  Too high prices = No customers = no bucks = No 
Leica.

Reputation does not put food on the table.  No matter how many extremely 
rich Doctors, lawyers and Indian Chiefs buy the things.....  You need many 
customers in different econimic classses to be in business in the long 
run....
