Subject: [Leica] S2 market - photo sample

I have a friend who does lots of high end work and has a full frame canon
system but has art directors constantly ask him to rent Hassy's and a guy
who sits behind a big monitor and runs the software.
At one point he told me he hardly uses the 24x36 digital format he's either
doing medium format digital or cropped digital format.
So it would make sense to try to get medium format quality.
Though Leica is a 35mm camera company and this looks like a 35mm camera and
I don't know what the format is?.

What's the format Kenneth?
What's a normal lens?
Are they telling?
If I knew would I have to kill myself?
