Hi Daniel,

I had the same hesitations as you, finally I've bought an iMac 24", I
don't know why, but 24" Monitor seems better than 20". Both have the
same graphic card, but I've compared both at the same time with the
same pictures in the Fnac and 24" looks better for me.

I completely agree Chris opinion " The glossy screens are high in
contrast", I've not yet calibrated mine, but I think it works really
fine. I agree too Tina opinion, IMO mate screens are better, but iMac
not offer this possibility, Eizo is a very good option if you want a
complementary monitor, but I think that a Samsung for half the price
could be enought.

I'm very happy with Apple, even so I'm still a new user, everybody
says me that Mac is a better tool. Time Machine is a great tool
(automatic back up). I've assisted to a big demo of Aperture 2.1 IMO
is a great software and cheaper than LR, I'm hesitating, but the use I
can do of it is quite limited because I'm not a digital shooter, I
scann all my films on a Epson Perfection 3170.

I hope these 2 cents helps...

Saludos cordiales
Lluis
